Editorial Policy

Principles of selection, review, and publication of materials.

01 General provisions

SARDAR is a peer-reviewed publication included in the List of journals recommended by the Committee for Quality Assurance in Science and Higher Education of the MSHE RK for publishing the main results of scientific research in the field of Military Sciences.

02 Manuscript requirements

  • Previously unpublished articles with scientific novelty reflecting the results of the author's own research.
  • 5–10 pages with an abstract, keywords, and structure: introduction, purpose, materials and methods, results, discussion, conclusion, list of sources.
  • Texts in Kazakh, Russian, or English (Times New Roman 12 pt, single spacing, UDC, MRNTI, etc.).
  • Materials must not contain state secrets; if necessary, an expert opinion from the ZGS service is attached.

03 Peer review policy

All articles undergo mandatory blind peer review by independent experts in the article's field. Possible decisions:

  • accepted for publication;
  • returned for revision;
  • rejected.

04 Publication ethics

The journal adheres to the principles of COPE:

  • prohibition of plagiarism;
  • mandatory citation of all sources of information;
  • respect for intellectual property rights;
  • disclosure of conflicts of interest, if any;
  • compliance with the legislation of the RK on the protection of state secrets.

05 Originality policy

All articles are checked for originality using the Antiplagiat system. The minimum originality rate is 75 %.

06 Responsibilities

The editorial board may:

  • reject materials that do not meet the subject matter and formatting requirements;
  • perform literary editing and shorten the text without distorting the meaning;
  • not provide written explanations in case of publication refusal.

Authors are responsible:

  • for the originality of the article and absence of plagiarism;
  • for the accuracy of facts, statistical data, and quotations;
  • for compliance with the legislation of the RK on state secrets.
Submission procedure. Materials are submitted through the electronic system at website. The author is notified of acceptance, revision, or rejection via the personal account.
