Manuscript Requirements

Technical requirements for manuscripts published in the SARDAR journal.

01 General requirements

The journal accepts significant scientific works, not previously published, corresponding to its subject, possessing scientific novelty and containing the author's own research results. Languages: Kazakh, Russian, English.

Structure: title, abstracts, keywords, main provisions, introduction, purpose, materials and methods, results and discussion, conclusion, funding information (if any), list of sources.

Length: 5–10 pages, including abstract, keywords, tables, figures, and bibliography. UDC and MRNTI indices are mandatory.

Not allowed:

  • page numbering;
  • page breaks in the text;
  • automatic paginated links;
  • automatic hyphenation;
  • sparse or compacted letter spacing.

03 Layout and formatting

  • Top left — the UDC index, with MRNTI below it; then, centered and bold, the author's surname and initials; below, in italics, the full name of the organization (without abbreviations).
  • The article title is centered, in capital letters, bold (GOST 7.5-98).
  • Information is duplicated in three languages. Abstract — 100–150 words; at least five keywords.
  • Tables are numbered and titled (title above the table); illustrations are formatted as figures after the reference to them; graphics — at least 300 dpi.
  • Formulas — in Microsoft Equation, centered, numbers on the right in parentheses; the explanation begins with the word “where”.
  • References — per GOST 7.1-2003 and GOST 7.32-2017; citations in square brackets; author details follow the list.

Use of AI. Artificial intelligence technologies (ChatGPT and similar) are allowed solely as an auxiliary tool — for linguistic, stylistic, and editorial text processing.

Using AI to formulate scientific novelty, define research problems, analyze data, or interpret results and conclusions is not allowed. The author bears full responsibility for the content; AI cannot be a co-author.

04 Other conditions

  • Minimum originality level — 75 %.
  • Compliance with the Law of the RK “On State Secrets” of 15 March 1999, No. 349-1; if required, an expert opinion from the State Secrets Protection service.
  • All articles undergo mandatory blind peer review.
  • Non-compliant manuscripts are returned for revision via the personal account.
  • Materials are uploaded at website.
